Our minimalist trash and recycle bin labels were designed for black trash cans and stainless steel cans with black lids. When placed on a black lid, the silver background creates contrast against the dark surface, and the black symbols complement it. A quick note on installation: stickers prefer smooth, non-porous surfaces. Glass, plastic, painted metal, and stainless steel work great. If your lid has heavy texture, the sides of the bin are usually the better placement.
